Parks in and around Moab, Utah

Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park are just a few of the many parks in Utah.  Both provide unsurpassed scenery. A must see while visiting the Moab area.
 

Arches National Park

Located just 10 minutes outside of Moab, this beautiful park offers scenery unlike no other. Arches out of sandstone and clay rock are highlighted throughout the park.

 
Canyonlands National Park

A large park in Southeast Utah featuring camping and hiking.

 
Castle Valley and Hwy 128

Follow Highway 128 along the Colorado River, to I-70.  About 60 miles from I-70, this highway offers some spectacular views of famous rock formations. Several movie scenes have been filmed  throughout this very scenic valley.  Castle Valley just off to the right, offers a lush green setting with several vineyards.  Wine tasting is available at some of the local vineyards.

 
City Park

A children's playground, skateboard park and swimming facility are located at the Moab City park in town.  There are plenty of picnic tables and grassy areas. However, dogs are not allowed.
